The quilt is finally off the quilt frame and am now finally just folding over the backing towards the front folding under about one inch and just sewing it down with a blind stitch/applique stitch. I'm doing it by hand because it's not as stiff. As you can see on the first picture I didn't remove the old torn backing. It was too much trouble to do that with all the hand stitching it had.
